Canadian Boats Sold for the Month of September 2024

The number of vessels sold in September 2024 was down 22% vs September of 2023, coinciding with a 15% decrease in total dollars transacted - larger vessels and higher dollar valued boats seem to be driving sales.
Inventory levels decreased in September of 2024 with 318 vessels coming to market, down 13% from September 2023. This is the 3rd consecutive month of decreasing inventory coming to market which we see as a positive - the market was flooded with inventory beginning 2023 which put downward pressure on sales and pricing. With slightly less inventory on the market, prices will stabilize and help clear out older inventory.
