Van De Stadt are qualified yacht designers & naval architects with more than 70 years of experience that specialized in designs for comfortable performance yachts. Since selling the business in 1978 to Delher, they now focus on providing yacht designs for custom build, serial production or Do It Yourself. The company has produced over 400 designs since 1933 and there are some 25.000 van de Stadts afloat in the world today.

Neptune is a 30 foot steel vessel built by a professional yard called Holland Boats (1976) Limited, they were based in Burlington, Ontario. The keel was laid in 1976 and the boat completed and launched fort he first time in 1984. Holland boat completed the hull an interior and delivered the boat to its first owner whom, then, contracted the mast, sails and rigs for the Halifax playground (heavy duty rig to sustain heavy sea).

Built of Van De Stadt plans, this Excalibur 30 is a custom steel cutter designed to take you anywhere – could be the solo cruiser or couple’s perfect vessel if you are planning off the beaten path adventures.

This boat is in great condition overall.  The DIESEL engine is BRAND NEW with only 2 hrs.  The hull and bilges have been re-coated, and a new cabin sole installed.  Parts of the deck will need some fresh paint, but other than that, this vessel is ready to sail.

This is a great little steel sailing vessel – strong enough to take on anything.  At $14,900 she is well under priced and ready for a quick sale!
